FAQs
IS THIS THE MIDWEST?
No, this is Patrick.
LOCAL DELIGHTS? RECOMMENDATIONS?
A schooner of beer at Grumpy's (Ketchum)
An ahi sandwich or chili from The Powerhouse (Hailey)
A dip in the river by Lion's Park (Hailey)
A soak in Frenchmen's Bend hot springs (Ketchum)
Our local fast-food joint, Snowbunny (Hailey)
Thrifting at The Advocate's Attic (Hailey)
Coffee and Vintage at Maude's (Ketchum)
A hike to Titus Lake (North of Ketchum)
WHAT DO I WEAR / CAN I WEAR SOMETHING SILLY?
Absolutely. And make it fancy!
However, we do recommend against wearing high-heels, as this shall all be outdoors, and there is lots of soft ground.
Bear in mind that it shall be hot during the day, and will likely cool down quickly in the late evening due to Idaho's high-desert climate.
CAN I WEAR A COWBOY HAT?
Although this is not officially a "cowboy wedding," we shan't dissuade anyone from indulging in the yee and the haw.
LOCAL CELEBRITIES?
We have lots! Especially on Broadford Road. Our favorites and most astonishing among them are our local Great Blue Heron, the herds of Elk, the Great Horned Owl, our many Vultures, Quail, Magpies, and, of course, the less frequent but nonetheless still astonishingly beautiful Mountain Lions and Moose.
WILL THERE BE HORSES?
Yes! Well, sort of.
While there will be horses present at Silver Bell Equestrian Center, Silver Bell is a working facility, and one that does not belong to us, so we ask that no one pet the horses or hang out in the barns.
Feel free to admire them from a distance, though.
WHATS THE DEAL WITH THE SHUTTLES?
Due to very limited parking at Silver Bell, and to reduce hullabaloo for this working ranch, we’re going to have our guests park over at 112 Lower Broadford (known as The Witchery) ahead of the ceremony. From here, two retired Yellow Stone tour busses shall ferry everyone to the ceremony site, and back for the reception. Consider this a fiddly, albeit charming chariot experience.
HOW'S THE TRAFFIC?
The Wood River Valley runs North to South, with a single highway connecting the whole thing. Traffic Northward is bad in the morning, and traffic Southward gets bad around 4-5.
CAN I BRING MY GUN?
No.
CAN MY BABY BRING A GUN?
Maybe.
DO YOU GUYS HAVE A REGISTRY?
See below!

We have too much already!
But for those of you who can't help themselves, we've provided the above link.
We're just shocked (and very pleased!) at how many of you spent your hard-earned cash to come party with us out in the Rocky Mountains.
(though we would be delighted if you made us something)
(cash gifts wouldn't be scoffed at either)
